I own a the z series, not sure which one but one thing is for sure this is a bunch of lies. I have been in for readjustments over and over and over. I get 5 levels not the 6 I was told. Also I can hear just the same with them on or off my ear. I am not impressed with this evaluation. I feel I got screwed for $3100 for the pair. A few times the device was adjusted over the phone and never heard any difference This is my 2nd pair of starkey and this is just as much as a rip off as the first..

Thanks for the info.

Based on your video I went to the VA and said “Hey, I want the Starkey Z Series.” (I had been issued Phonaks.) As a combat Vet they had me scheduled for a new pair, so I got these (CIC, L110). Also got the SurfLink Mobile 2

IMO these Z Series put my Phonaks to shame. My Phonaks were issued in 2011, so the Starkey shows the advancements over just a four year time period.

The performance of the Z Series is amazing. Mine adjust automatically. There’s no controls, all I do is replace the battery. So comfortable I can wear them all day long, and never realize I am wearing hearing aids.

What I like most is that in 2016 they have got rid of that hearing aid tin can sound. My hearing aids sound as close to “normal hearing” as I think is possible.

P.S. Now I am looking into the Muse by Starkey. I hear those are making advancements for combat vets who suffer greatly from tinnitus.
