Transcript: Today we will be talking about Costco Hearing Aid Reviews. Hi this is Ron from Specifically we will be talking about the review of the Costco Kirkland Signature 5.0 Hearing Aids. As you may know Costco is a big box retailer where consumers can buy anything from toilet paper to canned goods in bulk. And now they have become large retailers of hearing aids. Costco has over 450 hearing centers throughout the United States. Costco dispenses the Kirkland Signature 5.0 Premium Digital Hearing Aids. That’s their signature brand.
They also dispense hearing aids from Rexton, ReSound, Bernafon, and most recently Phonak. They just recently made a deal with Phonak and have begun to dispense Phonak Hearing Instruments in their stores.
Costco generally fits the open-fit, behind the ear or the bte. They advertise on their site that they do fit the in-the-ear or ite custom fit hearing aids. But their fitters typically steer their patients away from these style of hearing aids because the custom fits do take a little bit more time. They have to take impressions, they have to send them to the manufacturer. So there’s a little bit more cost involved and Costco’s goal is as everything is, is to sell in bulk. And they want to sell as many hearing aids as they can. And the easiest way for them to do that is just to buy the pre-made hearing aids like the open-fit hearing aids.
At we have a ton of reviews on various Costco hearing aids. Here’s a few of them. Here’s one from Green Valley, AZ. The person here has been struggling with moderate hearing loss for quite some time. They had an audiologist test them about five years ago and then again back in 2011. And they were kind of surprised how much their hearing had deteriorated. They ended up buying hearing aids from Costco and at this point they are very pleased. His wife is very happy and his wallet is happy. So there’s a positive review for Costco Kirkland Signature 5.0 Premium Hearing aids.
Here’s one from C.O. He says be careful with Costco hearing aids….a little bit of a warning there.
And kind of scroll down here. Form your own opinions through comparisons. That’s probably real good advice no matter where you are going to get hearing instruments. It’s always good to get at least a couple opinions and just see the differences between the hearing aids and the services that the hearing aid fitter or audiologist offers. Here’s one…a couple positive ones….”Transformational” …Joe D says. “Unbelievable” by Ken. So a couple good experiences there.
And…Stan B got some lemons. So not such a good review there on the Costco Kirkland Signature 5.0 hearing aids. But just go to our site We do have a lot of reviews on here from Costco. All the brands that they carry. So do your research. If you do have Costco hearing aids….we would love to hear from you. We would love to have a review from you to share with our users and the more reviews the better. Thank you.

Kay Lee says:

The problem of this review is that you are talking to the people who have trouble hearing.  So, the voice review has little value.  The letters are fazed and I had trouble reading them.

Edwin McCravy says:

There is a very annoying B-flat note humming all through this video.

peter palumbo says:

would have been helpful if you could actually hear the speaker; ironic, isn’t it?
